Configuring the Autorun Settings in Windows 8

  • Many users wonder where the autorun folder is located. In Explorer, type the following path:

    Important: Instead of Username it should be replaced by the name of the user for whom you want to configure autorun. You will be taken to the folder where the shortcuts for the software that will run with the system are located. You can remove or add them yourself to edit the autorun.

  • Also go to the folder "Autoload". can be done through a dialog box "Run".. Call this tool with the key combination Win + R and enter the following command there:

    shell: startup

  • To call . "Task Manager". using a keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Escape or by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting the corresponding item. In the window that opens, go to the tab "Autorun" tab.. Here you will find a list of all the software that is installed on your computer.
