How to hide a deleted YouTube video

Option 1: computer

In the full version of the official YouTube site, two instructions are relevant.

Method 1: library

After deleting a video, it won't disappear from playlists, so you'll need to delete it yourself.

    1. In the sidebar, click Library .
    2. Click the title or cover of the playlist that contains the content you want to hide.
    3. Scroll down and hover over the inscription "[Video deleted]" , then click on the trash can icon: this way you can delete the recording from the playback queue.

You can also go to the previous section through the tab "Playlists" on the channel page.

Method 2: Creative Study

The method, which is a bit more complicated than the previous one, involves using YouTube Creative Studio to hide.

    1. Click on your channel image and then select YouTube Creator Studio .
    2. Open section "Playlists" .
    3. Hover your mouse over the playlist title and click the pencil icon to start editing.
    4. Click the three-dot button and choose the action Show unavailable videos .
    5. When you see the video in the block on the right, open the drop-down list of possible actions with it and click "Remove from playlist" .

Option 2: Smartphone

The ability to control remote videos is provided in the default YouTube app, but the following steps are not available in Creative Studio, which is downloaded separately.

  1. Open section "Library" by clicking the button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the playlist that contains the remote download.
  3. Tap the button with three dots to the right of the title.
