How to hide the "Kiosk" icon in a folder without jailbreak in Windows

Recently, we told you about a way to move the Kiosk app icon to the folder on non-jailbroken iOS devices. This is possible thanks to the utility stifle stand from the developer, Filippo Bigarella. We are pleased to announce that today the developer has released a version of his utility for Windows users.

The main feature of the stiflestand app is that the utility does not require a jailbreak on the iOS device, which means it works with the iPhone 5 as well.

As the author of the application promised, today there is a version of stifle stand for Windows.

How to hide the "Kiosk" icon in a folder without jailbreak in Windows

  1. Download and run stifle stand(run it in administrator mode).
  2. Connect your IOS device to your computer.
  3. Press the button on the “Hide Kiosk” button and watch the movement of the Kiosk app shortcut to the created Magic folder.

We also draw your attention to the following points:

  • You will not be able to use the Kiosk app inside the Magic folder;
  • If you launch the Kiosk app located in the Magic folder, the device will go to the lock screen (on a non-jailbroken device) or enter safe mode (on a jailbroken device);
  • To restore the Kiosk app, simply drag it from the folder;
  • You can use the Magic folder normally by adding additional app shortcuts;
  • If necessary, you can change the name of the Magic folder;
  • If you have any problems with the operation of the utility stifle stand , this may be due to the fact that there are too many apps installed on your device.
